When Deliveroo challenged us to own Saturdays, we embraced the seemingly impossible task. Our mission: to transform Saturdays into "Deliveroo Day." Collaborating with TikTok and De La Soul, we devised an innovative campaign for people to win free food simply by sharing their plans for Saturday night on TikTok.
Participants eagerly posted their content by Thursday night, showcasing their incredible Saturday plans and expressing their unique style. The anticipation built until Saturday, when the winners were treated to a delightful surprise: De La Soul personally rapped their names in a special song.
To enhance the excitement and engagement, we introduced the De La Soul AI activation. Users eagerly entered keywords into the app, triggering the De LAI Soul mixer to generate custom raps in the iconic voice of De La Soul. These personalized rap creations could then be downloaded and enjoyed by the participants, adding an extra layer of fun to the campaign.
